A total of 213 strains isolated from Kyung Hee University Hospital patients of urinary tract infections during one month, January 1990, were studied on resistance against several antimicrobial agents. Isolated pathogenic organisms in this study were 22 species, including E. coli 27.7£¥, Pseudomonas 17.0£¥, Streptococci 15.0£¥, Klebsiella 10.3£¥. Concerning the multiple antibiotic resistance, Flavobacterium has been observed resistant to 14 antimicrobial agents, Providencia to 10 antimicrobial agents. On the other hand, ofloxacin, new quinolone has been found 100£¥ susceptibility against Staphylococci, Aeromonas, Citrobacter, Enterobacter, Flavobacterium, Proteus, Providencia and Salmonella.
